Pensée du jour - Thought of the day...

Francophile humor...

You might be a francophile if... "you slip out of speaking English--into French, without even realizing that you did this, but...the only clue is that the person you are talking to looks at you--as if you are insane!!" Oh mon Dieu!

The Club...

-The Club-

This section of my blog is currently composed of three groups:
"Fabulously 40", "50 is fine, fine, fine", et "Steel Magnolia's"

Readers are invited to respond and to share their own experiences. This platform is designed for women that qualify for membership to share their experiences and stories.

For many people, their 21st birthday is their defining birthday. For me, it was my 40th birthday. I knew that according to statistics,I had reached the half way point of my life's expectancy. Realizing that, I admitted to myself that there was still so much that I wanted to do, experience and to achieve. And so, I began formulating my "Bucket List." I wrote down everything that I want to do and then organized the goals into increments of 1,3,5, and 10 years.

I've known women to commemorate their 40th or 50th birthdays with such things as luxury cars, extravagant vacations, or something as personal as cosmetic surgery. This is the forum for sharing your stories, jokes, words of encouragement, etc...

When contemplating what to name the 60 and older group, I reflected upon the women that I know personally in this age bracket and decided that "Steel Magnolia's" best describes the style, grace and wisdom of these women.

For those readers that are currently in their 30's, I invite you to submit ideas for naming the 30+ Club.

Stay tuned ladies as articles are soon to follow that I believe you will all enjoy.

the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love.
